Drake's Takes - Super Bowl Edition

Super Bowl Sunday is upon us and that means props, props, and more props. There really is no better week to bet on football since everyone you know will be locked into the game. Why not get some buddies over to TopProp and see who is the prop master?

Don’t sit on the sidelines just watching the games. Download the TopProp Fantasy app and get into the action! Bet on which player you think will score more half-PPR points in head-to-head contests. It’s that easy. You know you’re watching the games anyways, let’s make money while doing it!

We all know I’m a huge Eagles fan but that doesn’t mean I’m blinding picking the birds for every play. Looking over the slate at TopProp I feel like we can close the season on a huge heater. Let’s gooooo.

Here are my best bets for Super Bowl 57:

- Patrick Mahomes (0.5 bonus) > Jalen Hurts

While I’m betting the Eagles to win the game, I can see Mahomes easily winning this prop. The Chiefs have barely any running game to speak of. In these playoffs, KC has only run for 195 yards and just three rushes for 10 yards or more. Meanwhile, we know Philly can get freaky on the ground. It’s not hard to consider where Miles Sanders, Boston Scott, or Kenny Gainwell punching it into the endzone. Meanwhile, Mahomes win or lose will be throwing a ton.

- Travis Kelce > A.J. Brown (1.5 bonus)

Another Chief prop winner? Yeah well, he’s kinda the entire offense. Kelce should exploit the Eagles zone heavy defense and find room underneath. The Chiefs are YAC monsters. They led the NFL in yards after the catch and Kelce was the main reason why. While I think Brown has a solid day I’m more into DeVonta Smith as we’ll talk about later.

- DeVonta Smith (0.5 bonus) > JuJu Smith- Schuster

JuJu just hasn’t been the playmaker that KC expected when he signed this off-season. His playoff stats are barely visible, with only three targets, as he’s been hobbled by injury. Meanwhile, Smith is coming off a 1,000-yard season and finished the regular season with four of his last six games over 100 yards. As the Chiefs roll out several rookies in their secondary I fully expect Philly to utilize Smith’s above-average route running to help them win.

- Dallas Goedert > Skyy Moore (+6 bonus)

I rarely pass on a bonus this juicy but Skyy Moore would have to actually be heavily involved to hit this. Yes, he saw seven targets in the AFC Championship but that also was because of limitations to Smith-Schuster and Kadarius Toney. If one or both of those guys are full go for Sunday we won’t see much of Moore. Goedert on the other hand should be busy as one of Jalen Hurts’ top options. Fire this prop up to the Skyy (see what I did there?).

- Miles Sanders > Isiah Pacheco (+2 bonus)

KC can’t run the football. They sure aren’t going to do so on the Eagles. The Chiefs' defense has allowed 6.0 yards per rush attempt in the playoffs. If they allow that to the Birds then Philly will grind them into the ground. Pacheco’s 2.6 yards per attempt vs the Bengals doesn’t inspire much confidence. This prop though could come down to who scores a touchdown. I think in a close game Sanders won’t get usurped by Gainwell or Scott. I like Sanders to go over 100 yards on Sunday and cash this prop.
