We have just one game left in Week 10 and it’s my beloved Philadelphia Eagles taking on the Washington Commanders.
Before we completely write off this game as a blowout (which it may be), let’s look a little deeper at some props that could put money in our pockets.
Our Quarterback matchup pits MVP candidate Jalen Hurts against the often erratic Taylor Heinicke (+10.5 bonus).
That bonus number is massive!
Hurts has only had one monster week for fantasy – over 30 points. So it’s not hard to think with that massive bonus Heinicke can win this prop.
When these two teams squared off in Week 3, Hurts scored 27.6 points thanks to 340 yards passing and 3 touchdowns. He only ran for 20 yards. In fact, Hurts has only rushed for 60 yards over his last three contests.
There is absolutely a path where Heinicke can win this prop with the help of his bonus.
If we used that bonus logic and applied it to these two QBs over the last three weeks the Commander QB would best Hurts every single time.
Tonight Heinicke gets back Jahan Dotson who can stretch the field. He also takes the pressure off of Terry McLaurin on the other side.
Philly will be without slot corner Avonte Maddox Monday so look for Heinicke to exploit his matchups inside. I’m taking Heinicke thanks to his massive bonus total.
TopProp Play: Heinicke (+10.5) > Hurts
For my second play, I’m going with a little Commander-on-Commander action.
This contest sees Brian Robinson (+2 bonus) vs his teammate Antonio Gibson.
I like Gibson in this prop because he’s going to assume the passing-down role from the injured J.D. McKissic.
If the game script holds to form the Commanders will be playing a ton from behind. That means more opportunities for Gibson. Throw in the fact that he’s still a capable ball carrier between the tackles.
Philadelphia will be without their run-stuffing defensive tackle Jordan Davis tonight. I see plenty of chances for Gibson to shine.
Gibson has seen 10 targets over the past two weeks and collected 9 of them. I like his odds to get into the endzone and win this bet over Robinson who hasn’t scored since Week 6.
