We’re back baby! Monday night and … oh no not the Broncos again. What did we do to deserve this?
Well, we’re going to bet the game either way so no matter how ugly I’m gonna play some props.
Justin Herbert has great hair, a big arm, and lives in Los Angeles. Russell Wilson is a dork.
I can’t in good faith ever recommend Wilson even with two bonus points tonight. His numbers are as unspectacular as his Subway ads. He hasn’t completed more than 21 passes since opening day. He’s thrown for multiple touchdowns only once. Rushing? Forget it. He used to be a weapon with his legs. He only has one game over 25 rush yards on the year.
Herbert is the easy choice here. He enters Week 6 with the second most passing yards in the league behind only Josh Allen. Big Jus (I’m making that nickname up) has 10 passing scores to date. Russ has 4. This isn’t difficult.
I can bore you with a dozen stats, but you just want to win money. Put the mortgage down on Herbert to win this prop battle tonight.

Next up we get a battle of the backs with Austin Ekeler taking on Melvin Gordon and his 5.5 bonus points.
Full disclosure, Gordon has been banged up entering this contest and was listed as questionable. That said, the prop is live so let’s play it.
Smash Ekeler all day long.
The RB 4 in PPR scoring, Ekeler gets it down on the ground and via the pass. He’s scored on receptions the past two weeks and with Keenan Allen likely out, Ekeler should continue to gobble up targets.
Gordon is a fine back and has a role, but the Broncos' offense simply can’t sustain drives long enough to get him cooking. Mike Boone is also a threat to steal a carry or two.
I’m doubling down on the Chargers who will find ways to score versus a pretty good Denver defense. If you want to be on the train when the next heater train leaves the station, jump on now.
